Grand Reopening
Following extensive renovations, the Oskar Reinhart Collection ‘Am Römerholz’ will reopen its doors on May 9, 2026. The masterpieces shine in all their glory within the carefully restored premises. The reopening combines the return of significant masterpieces with careful modernization, improved accessible entry points, and a new culinary experience—presenting the Römerholz as a renewed Gesamtkunstwerk with international appeal.
The grand opening will take place on May 9 with a public ceremony at 11 a.m., attended by Federal Councilor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider and Mayor Michael Künzle. A diverse program featuring guided tours, workshops, and other activities invites visitors to discover the collection and its newly designed spaces.
