On September 19, the guided tour “Dunkle Geschäfte – Spuren des Welthandels in Winterthur heute” will take place once at 3 pm (not at 5 pm); the meeting point remains outside Volkart House on Turnerstrasse.

Organisation

Oskar Reinhart left his collection and his residence ʻAm Römerholz̕  to the Swiss Confederation, which opened it to the public in 1970.

Confederate responsibility for the Oskar Reinhart Collection (Sammlung Oskar Reinhart; SOR) lies with the Department of Museums and Collections (headed by Benno Widmer) of the Federal Office of Culture (Bundesamt für Kultur; BAK), which forms part of the Confederate Ministry of the Interior (Eidgenössisches Departement des Innern; EDI).

Director and curator of the collection is Kerstin Richter.

Responsibility for the buildings lies with the Federal Office of Construction and Logistics (Bundesamt für Bauten und Logistik; BBL), which forms part of the Confederate Ministry of Finance (Eidgenössisches Finanzdepartement; EFD).
