Sculptures and tapestries

In addition to paintings and drawings, the collection contains some fifteenth- and sixteenth-century tapestries and a small number of sculptures. The three-dimensional works reflect the same approach to art as that apparent in the paintings and include Aristide Maillol's most important work in stone, La Méditerranée. Sculptures by Emile-Antonie Bourdelle, Renée Sintenis and Hermann Hubacher can be seen in the gardens.
