The café occupies a particularly attractive part of Oskar Reinhart's house. From the spacious terrace visitors have a view that stretches across the historic gardens, with their fine sculptures, to the Swiss Alps. High-quality food and drink served in these pleasant surroundings form a perfect adjunct to a visit to the museum's collection.
The café is on the ground floor and also has barrier-free access. Only the café terrace is inaccessible by wheelchair, however tables are also served at ground level in the garden. The garden is accessible by mobile ramp – please contact visitor services, who will be happy to assist you further. The café also offers tabletop extensions for the round tables to make them more convenient for wheelchair users. Please contact the café staff, either when you visit or in advance, if you would like to use them.
